Toshiba is one of the market leaders for analog ICs covering a broad
product line-up that includes industrial ICs, consumer ICs, and neuron
ICs. The industrial IC line-up consists of standard IFD (Interface
Drivers/transistor arrays), LCD drivers, full color display drivers,
motor driver/controller ICs, shock sensors for disk drives, telecom ICs
for cellular/wireless products, and automotive ICs. Toshiba has an
extensive history in the field of consumer ICs for TV, set top box,
video, home audio, car audio, and electronic games.
Toshiba memory products are designed to
enhance the performance of desktop systems, high-performance computers,
graphics systems, portable and hand-held systems, networking and
communication equipment. Whether the application calls for higher
density, increased bit count, faster access or lower power consumption,
Toshiba memory components anticipate the performance need. For example,
the 128Mb and 256Mb PC100 and PC133 SDRAMs (Synchronous DRAMs), 128Mb
DDR (Double Data Rate) DRAMs, and 128Mb RDRAMs (Rambus DRAMs); the 9Mb
NtRAM (No-turn-around RAM) which enables 100% bus utilization and the
2Mb and 4Mb low-power SRAM utilizing full CMOS cell design to minimize
power consumption; the 32Mb, 64Mb, 128Mb, 256Mb, and 512Mb NAND EEPROMs
for sequential data access applications such as image storage, voice
recording and solid state file storage; and the 1.8-volt and 3-volt 16Mb
NOR flash for fast random access non-volatile storage. Toshiba also
offers a stacked multichip package (MCP) solution combining low-power
SRAM and NOR flash solutions for cellular phone and other wireless
applications, and the SmartMedia solid-state floppy disk card for
portable data storage. Toshiba's comprehensive families of DRAM, SRAM
and Flash components feature continuous breakthroughs in CMOS technology
to yield a set of choices that cannot be found anywhere else.
