The IBS standard 100 Base-TX 12-port hub is an excellent solution for the entry level Fast Ethernet nehwork. The hub is built around a standard 19-inch chassis which allow stand-alone or rack mounted operation. Shielded RJ-45 connectors on the hub allow the use of shielded and unshielded twisted pair cables. An uplink port in the front panel permits cascading to another 100Base-TX hub .

Diagnostic LEDs on the front panel allow easy diagnosis of individual ports and overall network condition. Two status LEDs for each port show LINK/ACTIVITY and PARTITION/JABBER conditions. A global Collision status LED lights up to show collisions and conditions.

This standard hub is comprehensively tested to comply with the IEEE 802.3u Class 1 and Class 2 100 Mbps repeater specification. Support of the crash proof NWAY autonegotiation protocol allows the hub to automatically detect and reject non-100Base-TX connections.
