 |
| The
Right Tool for the Job |
| The
integrated color printer produces discs that look as good
as silk-screening and the 12x recorders make short work of
big jobs. The rugged robotics are engineered for long,
trouble-free service, and the disc cleaning system helps
ensure reliable mastering. The DupliCD includes powerful
CD mastering and label creation software that can handle
any job. From start to finish, the IBS Electronics DupliCD is
designed to fit into your workflow and your budget. |

|
DupliCD
consists of two 50-disk CD holders nested in a motorized In/Out
drawer, two or four drive bays which accommodate standard CD
recorders or verifiers, a disc cleaning system, a reject drawer,
a color CD printer and the robotics unit, arrayed in a vertical
"tower" configuration. The robotics are linked to a
proprietary SCSI controller and every aspect of operation is
software controllable. Front panel controls allow manual
operation of the Reject drawer, the Input/Output drawer, and the
robotic "picker". Sensors verify disc position to
insure smooth operation and gentle disc handling. |
 |
|
| Once
a copy job is started, the I/O drawer opens, and the picker
gently picks up a blank disc. The disc is inserted in the
printer, where the specified label art is printed. When printing
is complete, the picker moves the disc to the cleaning station,
where the ionized brush cleans the recording surface. The disc
is then fed into a recorder. If two recorders are installed, a
second blank would be printed and loaded into the other
recorder. Once the drives are loaded, recording begins. On
completion, the finished discs are set in the output bin, ready
to be unloaded. If DupliCD reports any errors during recording
or verifying, the suspect disc is automatically placed in the
reject drawer and the error is recorded in the jobs log file.
IBS Electronics
DupliCD incorporates the Primers Signature III TM CD printer,
which utilizes innovative ink-jet printing technology to print
sharp text and bold, brilliant graphics directly on CDs.
