Elpakco Incorporated began in 1984 as a value-added distributor, specializing in loose pins, receptacles, and machine contact type sockets. Shortly after the company’s inception, it became apparent that the most effective way to develop and service customers was to sell directly under the Elpakco name. Elpakco transitioned into manufacturing and Elpakco produced its first catalog. With that change in direction, Elpakco developed into a niche manufacturer with an excellent reputation for producing a top quality product line with fast turn-around times.

As Elpakco’s product line and customer base developed, so did Elpakco’s ability to change with the times. As the market brought closure to many competitors’ specialty divisions, Elpakco capitalized on the downsizing trend to acquire the necessary machinery to fit Elpakco’s manufacturing needs. Specialty molds and equipment came from the biggest names in the industry; Cambion, EMC, Key Precision, Precision Metal Products, Wells Electronics, Bic and Augat’s Swiss Turning Machines, for example. Elpakco currently owns and operates over 150 Swiss turning machines with the necessary backup for processing parts from raw materials to finished connectors.

Elpakco Electronics specializes in the manufacturing of a variety of high-quality components, including MIL-T-55155 Solder Terminals, AA59126 Solder Terminals, Wire Wrap pins, Power Pins, Solder Terminals, Receptacle Pins, Teflon Insulated Terminals, and Custom Pins/Hardware.

Elpakco's machining capabilities extend to various materials, including brass alloys, Tellurium Copper, Beryllium Copper, Teflon, Phosphor Bronze, and Stainless Steel. In addition to the listed products, Elpakco has the expertise to produce customized features such as right angles, threads, cross holes, and slit and crimp pins.

Founded in 1984, Elpakco initially specialized in loose pins, receptacles, and machine contact type sockets. Recognizing the need for a more comprehensive approach to customer service, Elpakco transitioned into manufacturing in the mid-90s. In this evolution, Elpakco acquired a significant portion of Precision Metal Products' (PMP) product line, marking a pivotal point in their expansion.

Headquartered in Westford, Massachusetts, just 30 minutes outside of Boston, Elpakco operates from two locations. The Westford headquarters houses our sales, accounting, and assembly departments, while our Ashland, New Hampshire facility serves as a machine shop for both custom and standard parts, including some assembly operations.
